HDR Chase

Few weeks ago, the first time I saw HDR photographs from the Web, I was so amazed by its range of colours. I told myself that I have to learn the techniques and produce such photographs. What is HDR? It stands for High Dynamic Range. Some interpreted it as High Digital Resolutions. Anyway, a rose is a rose, no matter what name you give her. What I like to see is the full range of colours captured in one photograph. In traditional or conventional photography, we hardly see such photographs. So, it opens a new door of exploration to me. I am like a curious cat. Spent day and night trying to figure out the procedures and process of it. With reasons unknown to me, my CS2 works like a crazy guy, sometimes it produces it, most of the time, it gives me a message stated that the photos I have loaded were short of dynamic range of exposures, and refuse to do the conversion for me. It was a frustrating experience, until I use Photomatrix Pro. It works perfectly for me. I am using the trial version, therefore, you would see its water markers appear on every piece of the works here. HDR really is very pleasant to look at. Beside the range of tones, it also provided great details of the subject captured.

贝娜姬之死

追求理想的人,往往是最大的受害者。自古以来,彼彼皆是。古有文天祥,现有伯杨。外有曼德拉,肯尼地等。他们都是为了追求一个理想,不为自已,只望国家兴旺。无奈他的国土都狠狠地赐他一个早夭。贝娜姬便是这个忠直名册上,最新添上的一个亮丽名字。

个人最不能忍受的,是那些蟑螂老鼠般的弱者,不敢坦坦然的站出来,光明正大的和对手交锋。而是采取懦夫行为而暗袭,事后还沾沾自喜,公然自赞。看来他们的老祖宗一定没有教他们礼义廉耻这一回事矣。

巴基斯坦,你这个东亚古国,多事之秋已提前降临你的前门了!如果枪杆与炸弹,真能解决问题,那么人类的语言便是一种多余的废料矣。

政治,始终是那么险诈,丑恶!贝娜姬,你是一缕亮丽新添的冤魂!

10 reasons that I will not take taxi!

Recently since the raised of GST, everything seems to have a cause to raise its price. The price hike is like a tsunami, it swallows everyone who are on its way! Every agency has its glorious reasons to give price hike for its products. But no one came out and say something on behalf of those who are in the low income group or the retired! Maybe, they think these groups of people are ecomonically unsound, and leave them to their own. The most unreasonable price hike is on taxi fares. If it is due to oil price, everyone could understand. But what has it to do with the city surcharge and midnight surcharge? Any man with a logical mind would not be able to figure it out! Therefore, to combat this sort of unfair business, we should follow CASE's advise: Compare the price, if not reasonable, do not purchase it. Personally, I listed out TEN reasons not to assist them in unfair price hike:

1. Do more walking then use TAXI, as walking could improve your cardiac condition.
2. Use MRT or bus, then suppliment with walking, it is cheaper and healthier.
3. Use any means of transport, say bicycle or even inline skating; this would help you to cut down your waiting time.
4. Do not wire call taxi, save on telephone bill or frastration, as there are many cabbies choose and pick their customers.
5. Get glocery within your own precinct save on transport fees.
6. Make full use of MRT, contribute your own share in reducing global warming effects.
7. Make trip with bicycle more often, this could improve your lower extremities' muscle groups.
8. Bit the congested traffic, by using MRT not TAXI.
9. Help to release car loads on the road, less TAXI trip.
10. Finally, improve on your own psychological health, by not cursing and swelling while waiting for TAXI, if you do not take it.

How? Am I insane?? Any taker out there?

旧事

璧浩在他的最新搏客里,提起小时候看戏的事。再看到他附在网页上的几张剧照,一时百感交集,心里久埋的各种滋味,刹时涌上心头。

犹记得懂事之后,专找感情浓厚的戏来看。當时正是十七八时少年维特的年纪,不知愁时偏寻愁。每逢周末,必定约了几位同学,放学后便直奔加东的乐斯戏院,或隔怜的另一间戏院（忘了那戏院的名字!）,专选长城或风凰的戏来看。那时,真看了不少长城的戏。个人当时特别倾迷夏梦和陈思思的戏。所以,对这两个演员留下很深刻的印像。今时今日,重看这些戏,倒是忆起那些和我一起看戏的人。这些友人,如今犹有联络,只是每个都发上飞白,不再英气非凡矣。岁月可真不留人呵!

那时看的戏,如今能想起的戏名有:三笑,啼笑姻缘。再往后的便是蓝与黑,不了情,意难忘等。现在回顾,多数这些戏的演员都作古矣。这些戏就这样陪伴一个多愁善感的少年,走过他那段不甚欢愉的青春岁月!

乖乖,这些竟时四十年前的旧事!

发光

每个人的一生里,总有一段时日会发光的。只是有的人想尽方法,隐性埋名,不想人知；怕得是:树大招风。但有人却恰好相反,每次一有机会,便大事一番,惟恐天下不知。人也,可悲的一种生物,却狂妄的称自已是‘万物之灵‘。

反观自然界,各有各发光。谁也不说谁不够水准。谁也不强争第一。大家在这大千世界里，各取所好,相安自如。

在摄影的过程中,常常感悟到这奌。这里发表的几张摄影就印证我的想法。看到这些照片,真佩服造物者心思。大小万物,只要我们仔细去看,不难发现它们都有各自美丽的一面。丑,只是个人自已心态上的一种影像而己,和真实相距十万八千里。

儿子的摄影术

儿子自从由医院出来之后,在康复期间,忽然对他一向来都喜爱的电脑技术和知识,抛之脑后。杀时之间对摄影术入迷非常。先是口上说说而己,续而拿起我给他的那部尼康傻瓜相机,四处猎影。开始时,所摄得的照片,毫无构图及主题可讲。

拍了一些时日,他竟然投资买了一架佳能40D, 专业摄影机。过后还购入一系列的佳能镜头。他的摄影器材,转眼间竟超越他老爸许多。一时之间,令这个做老爸的又爱又恨!爱者,因他能从中学得一门求生技术。恨者,看他年纪轻轻,竟能拥用如许高挡摄影器具。

令人更加心惊肉跳的,莫过于他对我说:工作的单位要他做摄影员,专门负责以摄影来记录单位的各种活动。哈!我真得服了他。当时,我还怕他功力不够,力不从心。还吩咐他要多阅读摄影书籍,勤于拍摄以吸取更多经验。

谁知事隔两个月,他竟然电邮几张夜景给我。看得我口塞眼呆。只能捶胸撞壁:真是后生可畏!不信,各位可看看他的作品,才下定论。

My Virtual Flower Show

闲情一二

真的是很久很久没有如此闲情过了。近日为了应付考试夜夜难眠,只为了证明自己,人虽老,记忆未老。常常一读,就读到凌晨二三奌。

考试终於过去了。成织还算不丢人。心情也就得放轻松一些。今日无意乘电轨车到圣淘沙一行。一下车,成片的尉蓝扑面而来。蓝的是一片青天,更蓝的却是那一片淘白的海洋。一看到满眼的蓝,心中的所有烦忧,所有的不快,刹时释然。

地铁站怜近有一小店,店外一片沙滩,沙滩上插着一支支巨大白阳伞,傘下有躺椅。一眼看去,此情此景,竟能在加坡这种闹市寻得,可不称奇?當下立刻小店主人买了一杯冰冷的啤酒,找一张置放在椰树下的躺椅,躺下。爽呯,人生最大的享受便是如此与大自然相拥!喝一口冰凉的酒,闭目聆听,顶上椰风习习,远处涛声不绝,偶而一两隻无名小鸟,随风窜过,添增一份惊喜!

一个炎炎的下午,遂随流云与和风逸然而去。畄下,几许的淡淡情怀,让我细嚼。

稳忧

人最怕有稳忧,因为一有此物,便终日给它痴缠,心神恍佛,六神无主；生不如死矣!

但是要想没有此物,却又非常困难。因为人人都有私心,都有偏见。做起事来,无论如何也会多少开罪一些持有异议的人。如此一来,便不得不有稳忧。处处得提防人家的暗箭或背后飞来的锐刀。要能安眠又谈何容易呢?

另有一种情况:患上某种病痛时,医生在治疗时,告诉你它是有可能复发的!这就像在你脑中放置一枚计时炸弹,你日防夜防,就不知道它要不要引爆,或者是何时要引爆!那种心头五味真是别人难以理解的。烦,只是烦在自己的心头。

人生,便是如此的无奈。而岁月依旧如流水般淌去,喜也一生,悲也一生。

夕阳之旅

人过六十,大多意态躏跚,心如槁木。主要原因是人生目标失落,身体情况日衰；因而身心皆疲。要不日覆一日的枯坐,便是终日无所事事。眼看这些人,实在是白耗生命。

迴望洋老翁,依然春风满靣,拉着老伴的手,二心走天涯。真羡煞多少人!有时情不自禁的走上前去问他们的年龄,有人竟回答:吾八十多岁矣!天呵,实在不能想像东方人也能像他们一样,做逍遥游。当然,如果你没有经济后盾,要走都难!

健康也是另一环结。假设你两眼昏花,四肢乏力；把你置身香格里拉,恐怕你也看之无色,食之无味,走之无路矣。

总之,要老来潇洒,除了袋中有银,还要身体硬朗.

只是如果终身和消费税,生活指数,以及通货膨胀率肉膊,那里还有剩余留做晚年享受?别忘了还有医药费像一隻凶残的猛兽,伏在你的前头呢!

The fight for Freedom

This week another ugly and cruel political game is happening in Burma, the country of Buddhas and Pagodas. From the news, we saw monks taking up protest on behalf of the people that disagreed with the military army control government. They were not protesting for their religion, but for the rights of the people in Burma.

Everyone knows the present ruling government of Burma is not elected by the people; in fact, they robbed the power from the people there and rule them as they wish.

As a human being here, I personally feel that by using guns and bullets to suppress the people’s will is the most uncivilized controlling method. Especially, putting bullets in the praying hands of the monks. I condemn this act! The whole world should condemn such uncivilized act too!

Damn the ugly and barbarian politicians!

Forked Tongue

In this world, many people afraid or hate snakes. This is because they have forked tongue, and look evil. But people do not know, snakes could be useful in their own nature, as to balance the ecological environment in the wild.

But if a person has forked tongue, then this is real devilish. Many times in the records of history, we see betrayal and traitor. They sold their friends away, they sold their country away. Most of the time, it is only for one purpose: To get his own benefit. History has repeated this scenario many times. Who knows, it may even happening at the moment, next to you!

The common characteristic of this type of person: Usually will provide sweet talks in front of you; try to gain your confidence, and suck your benefit away. This type of forked tongue personal, still have some conscience in their mind. The other type could be worse, gain your confidence and sell your information to opposite part or enemies. The other characteristic is total declaration of innocence. This people would come to you and declare they are innocent and did nothing about what is wrong; they would declare they have no part on doing anything in the accused situation. This is something like a drunken person, when caught, will immediately declare: I am not drunk! This is the same psychological reaction on forked tongue person.

*Sigh* When one is going to behave like this, I believe he has lost his dignity, his pride, his principles of life. He has sold his soul to the devils. Right?

Life is uncertain

Recently, my 19 year old son suddenly fall ill, and got hospitalized for almost 2 weeks. He was diagnosed for lung infection, stomach ulcer bleeding and bone infection. All of these resulted from army training.

Lying on his bed, I witnessed a young life suddenly weakened within 2 to 3 days, and he was gasping for air for few days in the bed. At that time, I wish I could take over his suffering from him at any price. Luckily, the specialist doctors were at present, and effectively identified all the bacteria in his infected body. Right drugs were used, and they have successfully brought him back to the right track of recovery.

I have analysed the situation for him: partially he has not taken good care of his physical fitness and conditions. If he had done so, he could be eased from these sufferings. I believed he had taken this lesson in the bitter way. He started to monitor his heart rate and body temperature daily. And also aware of his intake of food and water quantity.

His told his friends that it was a horrible experience in his life. He would not like to have it again in the future.

Life is always very unpredictable. When disease strikes, and our body does not have enough resistance, there goes our precious life! I always believe by doing regular exercise and invest on our condition of health, could keep us out of lots of unnecessary sufferings.

Alas! He has finally on the route of full recovery. I am free of worrying him then.

太阳花

看到太阳花（向日葵）,一定会情不自禁的想起梵高。看到那花灿开的模样,又会想到一般阳光型的少年。总而言之,太阳花给人的印象,大多数都是积极及正靣的。虽然它的花期不长,但畄给人的印象却是恒久的。如果做为一个人,亦能和太阳花一般,无论是生存在世间的时日,是长是短；只要他能留下一个令人回味无穷的记忆,也可算是不枉此生之行矣。僅以此诗为勉。

如此一张畅开迎人的臉

朝着晨光

何着没有黑暗的日子

生活已不再是

能用金钱衡量的岁月

欢乐像黄金一般的

舗在你宽裕的胸膛

乌鸦与黑夜无法在你面前

The Snake People Sometimes, ancient Chinese wisdom is really very fascinating. Look at the zodiac signs, there are the pig, snake, dog, etc.

Come to think about it, in some cases, it is related to people's character. Take myself for example, I am under the zodiac sign of Pig. For many years, whether in my working life or leisure activities, I have done lots of 'Pig' jobs. That is, silly and stupid works. Works that sacrificing your own time, own expenses, own brain juice and most importantly, your own youth; and get back all the back stepping, insults and humiliations. It is just as stupid as a Pig!

On the other hand, there are lots of Snake people around us too! These people dress like decent fellows, with tie on, shinning shoes and mounted with a sweet forked tongue. For motive only known to himself, he would praise you better than his own God, polish your shoes as bright as possible and tell you he would be your servant to lick your toes; he just do these for one purpose: To get what he wants! When things developed in the way that not to his desire, these people would flip his face, as if gotten the secret trade from SiChuan: Bian Lian (Face Changing Trick). Immediately, they will coil into its real form: An ugly serpent! Then, started to bite you with no good reason; tarnish you with all the harmful words, abolish all your credits, load you with all the faults, and shoot you down with no mercy; then go to the place of worship and repent! These are the typical characters of Snake People. Friends, have you met people similar to this kind. If not, you are a lucky person, and try not to meet up with one. They only could make your life full of anger. Because these people like to play God in front of the public!

Ah! By few more days, the year of Pig will be arriving. Hopefully, people like me, the Pig people would have a better year ahead.

Please do not look down to Pig people; the Cantonese has a saying: Pretend yourself as a Pig, and you could trap and eat up a tiger slowly. All creatures big or small, they do have their mighty side; only ignorant people do not recognize it.

猪年有感

再过数日,就是猪大哥的年了。匆匆岁月,一榥竟是数十年逝去,实在感到人生苦短。加上近日多人无缘无故地悴死,更加令人觉得人命无常。

迴首过去的岁月,甜酸苦棘皆有。悲喜离合更是家常。或许是这一些际遇,令人感到莫明的孤寂。将一切拥有的,視为短暂,一切失去是一场无法完场的因缘。处世待人,皆淡然处之。有时真能品味到诗人周梦蝶的‘火中取雪‘的心态。

报章上看到时有超过百岁的人,依然活得怡然。而我们一般城市人,能过七十已是古来稀矣。自已今年已达六十矣,能活多久,己不是自已能控制机制。想到下一个猪年,自己已是个垂垂老者矣。遂买了一个猪摆饰回来,放在家中显眼处,时时用它来提醒自己:时日无多,好加珍惜!

春花再美,也有凋零时节。蝴蝶再艳,犹得褪翅成泥。更何况人呢?悲,不是悲时日难畄；悲自己一生没把时日好好利用,活得更有意义和价值!匆匆一生,竟把大半生用做感情的斗兽场。实在是怡笑四方!惭愧!

若有来世,吾必勿做此蒙眼愚汉矣!

山雨欲来风满楼

人生一世,不可能风平浪静,安安稳稳的过一生。风风雨雨,离离合合,再所难免。只是,在风雨将来临之时,以及雨大风狂之际,自已要如果立直背脊面对一切，才算的上是个大丈夫.

最近,因发生了一些事件,由这些事件的发展,令我对一个相识甚久的友人的处世待人之道,不敢苟同!此友人在平日安逸之时,一派大将之风.为人能言善道.谁又会料到,事情一发生壮况时,他竟然处身事外,袖手旁观;对平时为他做牛做马的一般草民,置之不理.一切曾经许下的承诺,像风中柳絮,杀时飞得无影无踪.世代炎良,人心难测呵!可怜那群一向相信他,且为他卖命工作的人,到头来尽是两袖清空,还得承受旁人无谓讥讽.有时要做好人,也不是件易事呵!

回想起来,现时这个社会能守住自已原则做人的,真有儿人?哀哉!

Solitary

Sometimes to be alone is not a bad thing at all. At least, you do not get disturbances from people; and could concentrate on whatever you are doing.

Hiding from the madding crowds can make one thinks better and see better too.

Human is very funny creature. No matter what sorts of education one receives; from what religions or from which races; there are people who would look upon name and frame as the most important things in their life. With this preoccupied concept in their minds, they would do lots of things that could damage others and finally achieved what they wanted for. These people would not tolerate loneliness. They must have the crowd to entertain them.

Can't image those sages or saints or great philosophers, if they have this sort of concept in mind; would they achieve those great thinkings or thoughts? Alias, luckily they are not!
