The Lunar New Year Festive Season



Very year when time comes close to the Lunar New Year Season, I will have not choice and be forced to listen to those famous oldies, such as 'He Xin Nian', 'Gong Xi Gong Xi'. Year in year out, the same song will be repeated at the same time frame. No doubt, sometimes the singers are different, the music arrangement has changed. But the tune is the same.

When I was younger, I really get sick of them, once I heard them. This is why I do not like this season.

But as years passed by, age catching up, things change greatly. These days, as I walked pass China Town, heard of these songs, certain strange feeling arises. Suddenly, the old memories float up from nowhere. Suddenly realized that my parents were passed away for more than 15 years. Suddenly, noticed own self is no more younger as before. Suddenly, the world seems to be parting away from me. All of my elderly relatives were not around, those young siblings turn into full grown adults. Friends disappearing one by one, even my own students' faces starting to appear on obituary page!

Other things also happened in silence: The actors that I admired, the singers that I most adored; one by one, all slipped into the other side of the world. But their movies, their songs still mingle around the moment I play their records or videos.

Suddenly, shockingly realize that time also had slipped away so much and so fast from me. Yet, there are so many things not done yet. Life, is really rush away as the tidal wave. If we do not catch it on time and present ourself in full colour, it will never be another chance for you....

怀旧之歌

今夜不慎取出方琼的怀旧金曲影碟,一看就看了两个小时。看到自己百感交集,泪聚满眶。一是方琼唱得投入,把旧时情怀唱得丝入扣。一是每首旧曲,都是我人生旅途上的一种刻记。一时之间,听到前尘胸涌,往事奔腾。茫茫间,犹如重入旧世，重返失落己久的旧路。

吴莺音的明月千里寄相思，令我想起傍晚五六奌丽得呼声的歌曲奌播,老父躬着身子打金的背影。周璇的天涯歌女,母亲嘶喊吃晚饭的叫声。隨后姚莉的歌声跟着灯亮时刻播起。如今这些与我听歌的人,一一作古矣。人生始终是这么的无奈。

特别是方琼唱的 ‘莫忘今宵’，‘永远的微笑‘；昔日听歌的人，今日不知身在何处。如果斯人有朝也听得此曲，是否还会忆起这么一个痴人？昔时年华方盛的你我，今朝都以白发苍苍。如今细嚼词曲，才深深领会到其中的滋味。虽然事隔多年,但歌曲在空中依旧，恍佛间有如重坠时光遂道，那人的一言一语历历隨曲重生。定过神来，才恍悟那都是杨州一场大梦！人生真得如戏呵！

心上的人儿。。。。。歌声依旧，只是时间与场景都大不相同。怀念与牵挂，依旧。

看你横行到几时

螃蟹实在是一种莫明奇妙的生物（我是指它的行为举指），还因为它的双眼长在头上,傲视天下，不覚察自己不过是大海边沿的一隻微小生物，整日横行!

这世界里也不乏这类的人物,仔细想想你周边的人,不难会看到这样的人!

台湾的政冶人物更是彼彼皆是!横行多时,把民族,国家不视眼内；整天在为自已作秀,到头来,一次的选举遂败得人样全殁!实在是罪有应得!这种无法无天的行为,我这个局外人看了,都为当地的台下阿斗不值!幸好当地的民众还有一條颇刚直的脊骨,默默地忍受了多年,一待时机成熟,万众一心,一人一票,把成箩的螃蟹打回原形!真是大快人心!

螃蟹, 到处都有。只是要奉劝这些螃蟹一句话:横行时,切勿做得太绝,留下一条后路给自己退。免得有朝一日,走到穷途末路,无法回头,落得粉身碎骨的结局!切记,切记。

Traceless (Poem in Chinese)

草根艺人之逝

草根艺人蓝顉嘻突然逝世,本地华文报章大幅度报导。令人对这位终日笑脸迎人,却不想让人轻易撞入他内心世界的艺人,感到非常婉惜。以他自已供及在搏客或媒体的资料看来,他入行十多年始终挤不上头缐演员名册,心中的甜酸苦辣,外人肯定无从想象。但他在小银幕的阳光造型,深得人心,那是不可否认的；既使他自己的同事也有同感。

他逝后的媒体报导,引起了一些令人回味的因由。试想一名草名演员,为何以令到惜笔如金报纸不惜大版位报导吸?他的突然猝死,当然有其新闻价值,但个人认为他的亲民作风才令所有为他执笔的人,下笔如风。看到大小华文报,对他的报导都是充满着温情,不像一般公式型的报导,就知篮顉嘻平时的为人,是何许的亲易近人事。

只是上苍往往爱开世人的玩笑:天妒善人,唯让恶棍横行!时也!命也!哀哉!

HDR Chase

Few weeks ago, the first time I saw HDR photographs from the Web, I was so amazed by its range of colours. I told myself that I have to learn the techniques and produce such photographs. What is HDR? It stands for High Dynamic Range. Some interpreted it as High Digital Resolutions. Anyway, a rose is a rose, no matter what name you give her. What I like to see is the full range of colours captured in one photograph. In traditional or conventional photography, we hardly see such photographs. So, it opens a new door of exploration to me. I am like a curious cat. Spent day and night trying to figure out the procedures and process of it. With reasons unknown to me, my CS2 works like a crazy guy, sometimes it produces it, most of the time, it gives me a message stated that the photos I have loaded were short of dynamic range of exposures, and refuse to do the conversion for me. It was a frustrating experience, until I use Photomatrix Pro. It works perfectly for me. I am using the trial version, therefore, you would see its water markers appear on every piece of the works here. HDR really is very pleasant to look at. Beside the range of tones, it also provided great details of the subject captured.
